COG - A Cogswell College Publication
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
Sadly, due to budget cuts and academic changes brought on by covid-19, COG is closing its pages, and we are now closed for submissions, except for cover art. We are working on putting out a final summer print issue. We are attempting to get through all of our submissions, but if you have not heard a reply pack by the end of August, assume your submission wasn't chosen for our final.
Each issue of COG is a curiously constructed curation offered up by the students of Cogswell College.
We publish three online issues per year, in November, May, and our August print issue.
COG is not a venue for student work; rather, the staff is comprised of students who solicit, screen and edit content from writers and artists.
Our two annual literary competitions, the COG Page to Screen Awards or the COG Poetry Awards have been judged by celeb' authors including superstar novelist Gish Jen; U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera; Daniel Handler, AKA Lemony Snicket; and poets Major Jackson and Hieu Minh Ngyuen.
COG is currently accepting submissions for the 2020 COG Poetry Awards, judged by poet/performer/artists An Duplan.
